Curriculum

Faith, Hope and Good Mental Health curriculum actively engage people using spiritual practices such as mindfulness, spiritual reflection, active listening and experiences of hope which will strengthen them through difficult times when so many of us lose our faith.

FHGMH is for people with mental health challenges, their family and friends. Principles of the Christian faith are foundational to the group work: compassion, companionship, and caring community support.

Each session has a familiar pattern that creates a sense of comfort and predictability.

"We engage in spiritual practices that develop new habits of the heart."

People with mental health challenges may feel exhausted, despairing, defeated or hopeless. FHGMH creates a safe space for sharing concerns, offers new hope for the future, deepens our faith in the gathered community and nurtures our souls.

Themes we explore:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Loneliness
  • Loss
  • Grief
  • Wholeness
